Description

This Hub tool has been developed to support the sustainability of projects served by the KDE Hub by offering information about existing funding opportunities and resources to help identify and apply for eligible sources of funding related to mental health promotion (MHP). The tool comprises a set of funding supports: a searchable directory of Canadian funding agencies and opportunities identified by the KDE Hub in 2023 as relevant to MHP, and a list of additional supporting resources (websites, funding databases, online resource collections, fundraising and/or grant writing toolkit, webinar, newsletter, articles, and other written resources).

Potential Use

Mainly aimed at community-based organizations, this tool may help to identify new opportunities or funding agencies that contribute to the sustainability of mental health promotion work and could be used to facilitate conversations within organizations about current and future practices to support fund development.
