KDE Hub Mental Health Promotion for Children and Youth (July 2021). Project Management for Child and Youth Mental Health Promotion. Waterloo, Ontario: Knowledge Development and Exchange Hub, Renison University College, University of Waterloo.
Description
This tool provides a comprehensive inventory of topics that are relevant for designing, implementing, evaluating, and scaling mental health promotion projects. Within these general and iterative stages of projects are a wide range of topics (spanning partnerships, project communications, project team capacities, context, cultures, measurement, values, ethics, and beyond), each with several questions to consider for addressing the topics.
Potential use
Managing mental health promotion projects requires attention to a wide range of topics at different points in time. A comprehensive overview of all topics to consider (found in this tool) is overwhelming for most people. This tool is best used as a periodic reference, a ‘friendly reminder’ for project managers about what to consider and when. Teams find it most supportive when they are selective about the topics they address at any point in time. Bite-sized is easiest to digest.
