Description

Developed with the goal of improving comprehensive school health, this toolkit communicates the importance of youth engagement, provides evidence to support this practice, and offers a How-to Guide for operationalizing youth engagement at an organizational level. It invites organizations to challenge their assumptions and presumed barriers for youth engagement and describes steps towards making meaningful and sustainable change. A variety of tools and resources are provided throughout the toolkit, including a comprehensive Indicator Framework and Assessment Tool.

School officials are the primary target audience for this resource. All organizations interested in improving their youth engagement practices may find the evidence, guidance, and measurement tools useful.
