on Communities of Practice. Waterloo, Ontario: Knowledge Development and Exchange Hub, Renison University College, University of Waterloo.

Description

In recent years, many stakeholders and organizations have invested in creating Communities of Practice (CoP). CoPs provide a space whereby professionals can share promising practices, learn from one another, and create new knowledge to advance professional practice. Though CoPs have become increasingly popular, the development of CoPs across different sectors has shown us that there is no one-recipe-fits-all approach.

This summary provides a summary of findings from a review of peer-reviewed and grey literature (from 2012 to present on CoPs). is to ensure that the KDE Hub remains informed about issues of greatest importance to our audiences – particularly those projects seeking to develop and facilitate a CoP – and tailor Hub supports accordingly.
